This project is located in one of Amsterdam’s historic houses, where we aimed to preserve the authentic charm of the original architecture while seamlessly blending it with contemporary design.
Classic ceiling mouldings, tall windows with stained-glass details, traditional doors, and natural herringbone parquet flooring became the foundation of the interior, highlighting its timeless architectural character.
Living room
To create a beautiful contrast with these classical elements, we introduced statement contemporary furniture, sculptural lighting, and bold yet harmonious colour combinations. Rich terracotta, olive green, and warm earthy tones bring a sense of warmth, comfort, and individuality to the space.
The result is an elegant living room with a subtle vintage touch, where history meets contemporary design, and every detail contributes to the unique atmosphere of old Amsterdam.
